“Had the loveliest stay at this traditional bastide located within walking distance to the beautiful village of Moustiers. The apartment is in a separate building within 1 min drive to the main building and the staff gave very clear directions and even a map to guide us to the place. The apartment has good parking space in front and is located up a short flight of steps with an open kitchen and living room area.l with a large TV (even Netflix!) There are two bedrooms but only one bathroom/toilet which is the only downside I would say. The guests are provided with towels, a soap bar and a body wash/shampoo too. The stay overall was very comfortable and the area was very quiet, and there’s a balcony overlooking the village and great for watching the stars! The breakfast was served in the gorgeous garden in the hotel with a great selection of breads, jams and fruits, and the staff would serve fresh cooked eggs and coffee or tea. Lovely view and great food (if only you can handle all the bees swarming the jams!) there are also two very cute tortoises wandering around the garden :)”
“First of all, if you are in the Provence for tourism you should visit Moustiers. It is a beautiful and picturesque town. The hotel is nice. We were able to choose our own room which was nice as they are all different. Bed was good. Nice to have a tea kettle and fridge in the room. AC a little wonky—had it set well when we went to bed but room was very warm and stuffy when we got up. Breakfast was good.”
“We recently stayed at La Bastide Du Paradou for 3 nights. This 16 century bastide is charming and comfortable, with a fantastic location a 10 minute walk/hike uphill to the village of Mustiers Saint Marie. The room was spacious with a small refrigerator stocked with 2 water bottles and an assortment of sodas/beer/wine. We enjoyed the 15 euro breakfast each morning in the beautiful garden. The breakfast included fresh fruit, fruit juice, bread, croissants and homemade jam, with the option for scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese. We both thought the eggs were exquisite. The one downside for my husband was the lack of a standing shower. There was a hand-held shower head in the bath which he found awkward to use. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and would stay here again if we ever found ourselves back in this area!”
“We love this place, very French with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast is amazing and the evening meal is beautify cooked by the owners. The best bit is is the garden where the food is served, one of nicest places to visit in the area.”
“A family hotel managed by a lovely family. The rooms are very clean to our standard and very cute to have different theme and design to choose from. When open the window the garden view was really relaxing. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our 2 day breakfast in the garden. Walking access to the Moustiers village center within 10mins. It’s a good location to commute by car between the lavande area and the gorge du Verdon. The family cat Pépite is also super cute. We hope to visit again.”
